In a pact that reflects their mutual decarbonization goals, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Orica have confirmed a new MoU to examine opportunities for emission reduction initiatives.
The pairing will leverage MHI’s reputation for manufacturing excellence and innovation with Orica’s existing presence and emerging opportunities in the global renewable hydrogen and ammonia markets. It will encompass various areas of interest for both organizations.
“Orica is building a strong pathway towards achieving net zero emissions by latest 2050, while positioning the business for a lower carbon world,” the company said. Thus, its continued partnerships and investment in decarbonization will support its sustainability goals while supporting individual goals in key areas.
